More than a few eyebrows were raised when news broke in October that the Air Force's UAV network had been compromised by malware. And what is more, every time the malware was supposedly taken care of, it kept coming back--a hallmark of advanced, persistant malware.
This is just one example of the current trends and threats that force us to consider how to evolve technology to meet current challenges in the Federal sector. This is no small task given the increasingly dynamic nature of government networks and the millions of endpoints logging on and off them.
